The Giants can pretty much lock things up with a win at Washington today, but I’m not on their bandwagon today. The Redskins are desperate to stay alive and they are at home. There’s no telling what impact the Plaxico Burress mess might have on the team.
I don’t think it will affect their concentration level, because these guys are sold on team. But, Burress in the lineup is one more weapon for Eli Manning.
I like the Jets today. They are on a serious roll, at home against a team that can’t stop the run. They really can’t stop the pass for that matter, either. Denver is erratic and there’s no telling which team will show up.
I hope you check in while you’re watching with your comments. Have a good day.
Hi John-
It seemed to me we were doomed almost from the start on this one. The Jets never really got things going. No sustained drives like we’ve been getting to accustomed to. I thought for the most part our lines were beaten badly on both sides of the ball. Also, there was virtually no pass rush on Cutler at any time today. Ugh!
I have been hearing many fans complaining about the horrible officiating and though that may be true, we did not look quite prepared to play our best.
The Jets looked pitiful today. The tackling was atrocious, the pass rush non-existant, and the coverage wasn’t that good either. The offense was mediocre today. I know the weather was bad, but the pass game wasn’t there. Favre looked bad today, missing his receivers on several occasions. But they were due for a stinker and luckily the Patriots lost too. Luckily their final three games are relatively easy…
